Every VW van, VW and Vanagon I've owned uses standard 7" round sealed bean lights. Those year models have ranged from 1966 to 83. They normally go bad from a rick chip or such but I've had them with water sloshing in them and they still worked. Stan -------------------- Clip -------------------------------- The US Vanagons don't use sealed beams. Sealed beams are just that. The bulb is a intergral portion of the headlight fixture (glass and all). When it goes bad, you replace the whole thing.
