What the hell? No matter what brand I buy, when I flip the box over it will say made in China. Have you ever taken a good look at the bayonet type tail lamps you get at the parts store ............. no quality control, just crap. At least getting old headlights out of BMWs, Jags, Mercedes at wrecking yards I get known brands of lights at full free price or just pennies on the original price. I always collect tail light bulbs from Vanagons when I'm in wrecking yards. PO had big bulbs and I had melted lenses, so bright tail lights aren't in my plans. Stan
