HI Volks; I tried looking in the archives for this particular pin setup, but to no avail. Probably not the fault of the system so much as the operator. I got close with a description of a tach pod transplanted into an air-cooled vanagon. What do I need to switch around to make the plug from my 83.5 wasserboxer (now Tiico powered) with the large analog clock work with the later model (complete) tach dash pod I'm installing?. Both pods have water temp and fuel gauges, and I know I will have to run a tach signal line (did someone say 14 ga. 'cause of the run distance?) to #9 pin(?), but what are the other changes I should make? By the way, any Tiico types know if there is a tach signal point I can pick up inside the bus at the ECU/relay box under the rear seat? Thanks Dave B. 83.5 Tiico Westy 83.5 WBX Westy |
