Don't do this!!! Follow the troubleshooting steps on my website (click on the picture of "Ken" and then go to the page you need) to fix this problem right. If your low speed fan is not coming on then nine times out of ten you have a bad fan speed resistor which is located behind the driver's side headlight. These are $35. Much cheaper than a blown motor when you let someone besides yourself drive the van and they forget to turn on the fan.
