It is a tapered joint, and when the tapered joint is clean and free from burrs, it should seat properly with the spec`d torque. I`m in the middle of this right now, AND MY QUESTION IS: How should the ball joint base sit in to the upper control arm? It doesn't seam to want to sit flat, but on an angle.
