My new-to-me 1990 Multivan has a broken rear seat belt buckle. To avoid complications I'd like to see if I can acquire the entire belt with buckle so it's an easy bolt-in. I really want my two kids (12 and 13) to be able to sit on opposite sides of the wide rear seat (the MV seats three across) during our upcoming summer trip. Parents in the audience will understand my wishes regarding this desired behavior, I am sure. I need one of the long (about 44 inches) belts with the sliding male buckle. The VW-Audi part number on the buckle is 191 857 837, and there is another part number "REPA 0 001 3323". I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger, errrr, seat belt today. I'll pay reasonable purchase cost and shipping to the Seattle area. I haven't tried the local breakers yards yet, and I will be doing that. I figured that it's worth a shot to see if anyone on the list might have one of these from a parted out van.
Cheers. Rob It's never too late to have a happy childhood. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Rob Scott, mailto:rob@unixguy.com Langley, Washington on Whidbey Island (a suburb with a moat) |
