We've looked at most aspects of this including some way into the basic theromodynamics,trying not to use vernacular words like 'densifies', though do know what you mean. The theory being that the atomized water cools, and therefore densifies (scientific jargon) the mixture. More dense equals more pop per piston. Simple.
