Hi volks,

Tim Smith did a little tool that us of the subaru bent (not that BenT, just the subaru bent) modified a bit to provide a comparison method providing a modicum of decision support for those who might be considering wheel/tire/gearing changes.

It was a little while back but near as I can figure the approximations still hold.

Note that it's a comparison tool, intended only as a guide or time sink for fiddling away your infinite spare time and learning a little MS Excel along the way.

Warren Christensen added some torque and power graphs for guiding one's thoughts along the way to selecting a subaru motor.

I'm sure that using this tool along with Christopher's we can all do modeling tweaks to our "ideal" vanagon without spending gobs of cash.

Perhaps we should post them on the Vanagon Yahoo Group (our backup list, thanks to Jim R0)

I'll show you mine if you'll show me yours...heh heh...
