Mr. Migel, I found a tool from the snap on truck, that has foot long cable, and then a jaws to do this job. You hook the jaws to the clamp and then squeeze handle. The clamp comes loose. Very nice tool. It fit on any spring clamp on Vanagon to take off. Good Morning,
