try at least twice the 2000 we paid for teh '84 here.. so far... had it for a while though...

a vanagon is a bottomless money pit. wouldn't be so much of one with a better engine (and probably isn't for those of you who have installed more common engines)

tis the price that's paid for having a vehicle with an engine that was only ever used in that vehicle. expensive parts. extortively expensive.

honestly, if i coulda i woulda done da subaru a loooong time ago.

(anyone got a spare engine that they'll part with for a song? heh >:D )
