I have some experience also with this popping and hard to light problem. Usually I've been able to overcome it by pumping the normal air pump for a couple of minutes, to keep oxygen in the burner box while it builds up enough heat to get a convection flow going to supply its own oxygen. I've also kept a length of surgical tubing under the rear seat which will fit over the drain plug. I blow air into the burner box through that tube and that has also worked for me. Same idea as with the foot pump, but slightly simpler.

Personally, I'm looking for help still with the fridge blowing out whenever I drive. I've tried a lot of different things, including caulking around the outside vent, but it alway goes out at speeds above 30 mph.

Otherwise, my fridge works fine.

Any helpful ideas out there?

Paul
