Subject: New Doublecab "Baby"
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Hi List,

We've been blessed with a new arrival - a 1990 doublecab!!!! It has very minor rust and a very straight bed and sides. It was never used for work or hauling side bending heavy objects. My personal bonus is that it's an automatic!!

The importation from Canada was relatively easy using a registered importer and the (temporary) use or the MPH speedo from my Multivan. Also screw VW and their @#$%& certificate of conformity-it's not needed!

Anyone needing information on how to import, pmail me. Also now I have three Vanagons and I need to thin the herd. If you're interested in an '86 Syncro with new "everything", contact me and I'll email a spec sheet. Briefly, it has a new VW long block, all front axle components, BMW 6 disc CD,10 speaker sound system, full digital gauges and much more.

Regards, John
