Dear Julianna,

As a women, you likely do not have experience with these things. When a call is issued for men to gather together to work, the one necessary and constant ingredient in the stew is beer. A liberal amount of beer is administered before, during and after the work. This is not some suburban weekend warrior phenomenon either. Archeologists have proven that before the first block was even set in place on the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the requisite cases of honey beer stacked up in preparation made the mass of the finished pyramid pale in comparison.

One equation suggests a second order derivative of 1 case per man per day. This is assuming 12 oz. bottles. It may seem counterintuitive, but if cases of 16 oz. cans are purchased, the rate of the rate remains the same. I cannot provide you with the cost/benefit data of using kegs; that data bec omes lost to the ether at some point. I do know that if you go with kegs you will lose one man-day per day to the guy who hangs around the keg for the vital task of pumping. This can be avoided for the minor cost of some CO2.

Remember: the Good Lord watches over fools and drunks, so when it is all buttoned up, have one of the "technicians" take it for a test drive.

Richie
