Help! I'm looking for some advice on how to resolve this recent quirk.

First, I've got an inline conversion. A Eurospec. digifont ignition.

The Problem: NO hot start. After running strong for a while, when I stop in the heat of the afternoon it won't restart. I does crank, sometimes relunctantly, it does 'catch' but then dies usually just when you get out of the parking lot and onto the street! it does not restart until it sits for a while to 'cool off' then all is grand!

History: I recently replaced the voltage regulator and the primary battery. prior to that there was a intermittent short that caused the engine to quit and fried the ignition switch. That was fixed but the hot start problem remains.

thoughts... Due to its occaisional relunctant to crank, Is the starter going? Is the ECU going?... Is my mind going?

Help

Cory Hawkins '85 Eurospec conversion
