Subject:      South African quad grille STOLEN off van!!!

a friend of mine just informed me that his South African quad headlight
grille (with attached driving lights) was stolen right off his vanagon in a
mall parking lot (where he works)...  in the middle of the day no less!   the
driving light wires were snipped and he came out to find his van grill-less.
just a word to the wise that not all vanagon owners are honest law abiding
citizens i guess.  thats all that was taken.. obviously someone had seen his
van prior, knew what it was and what it was worth, and waited for the right
moment to snatch it..
anyway just a pisser.  i think his insurance will cover it tho, if he pays
the deductible..
