Yes, I have seen it done! Actually I posted the pictures on my website a couple of years ago but recently removed them. The guy's name was Tom Hanlon and he lives up in the Connecticut area (probably the guy that is selling his van on Ben Ts page). He used a conversion kit from Fast Forward. You have to build a large box to allow for the engine to stick up into the luggage area in the rear of the van. He said it worked well and had nice power.

Subject says it all. I have a chance at a G60 Corrado (wrecked with good engine) and thinking about a conversion for the lumpy '89. Anybody know if this is the same type of block as the inline 4 cylinder engines that are used for vanagon conversions? Mounting angles?
