Subject: oil pressure buzzer

I just had the engine replaced for the second time in my '87 Vanagon with about 200,000 miles. I love this van! The van is running fine, but once it is warmed up and I slow down to under 2200 rpm's the oil pressure light and buzzer sound off. Once I accelerate back over 2200 rpm's the buzzer stops.

My mechanic tested the actual oil pressure and assures me it's fine. He thinks the wires or sensor is not working correctly. I have never experienced a problem like this before. It started with the installation of the new engine.

Any ideas for me to try?
