When I first got my westy, the PO had put a tint strip across the top of the windshield. Because of the forward position of the seats (over the front wheels), I never realized prior to this how often you look through the top few inches of the windshield when you're going down hills, switchbacks, etc. It drove me absolutely nuts. After one trip, I was out there with a razor blade and windex. I would recommend getting the windshield without the strip and adding the tint later if you decide you need it--it's very inexpensive. bmc :) "Faith will move mountains, but you'd better bring a shovel...."
