The Kennedy Engineering petcock simplified things on my '84. I 1/4" ID Tygon tubing to run outlet of petcock to a water-trap made from 1 gallon polycontainer. Polycontainer is on top of 8' step ladder. I am still working out exact details. Take appropriate safety precautions and use appropriate personal protective equipment when dealing with coolant, especially when hot.
