Subject: Body Shops around DC
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

The GoldBrick is about due for a trip to repair the car dings and minor surface rust appearing in a variety of places...

So, I'm interested in any opinions for good body shop/paint shops in the DC area (preferably in Virginia, but Montgomery County locations are acceptable too.)

I thought there was a Mastercraft shop in Rockville, but the only place by that name is in Manassas...Wagonwork (in Alexandria) has been around for a long time, but beyond that I know nothing about them.

There is (of course) the dealer body shop option (Stohlman VW's body shop is almost walking distance from my house...) but I've had mixed results there (once an excellent repair, later an only marginally acceptable repair on my Corrado).

I'm looking to putting the GoldBrick back to better condition than when I bought it (which is going to be tough cause it was in really fine shape...which I've abused :( )

Other places I'm half thinking of are Matchless (in Vienna) and Rays (also in Vienna) but I'm pretty sure Matchless hasn't worked on many VWs...
