Subject: Its out, and ready for the Tiico!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi all,

Well, we managed to get started around 1:30 today. Brian and I ran to Fred Meyer to get some bins for the coolent to drain into while Steve unhooked the batteries, and took off the air filter box. Between Steve, and Brian, I really didn't do much but watch, and hand out tools, and clean up coolent. Well, I did lable everything, so parts won't get lost. We hung up the compressor for the air conditioning with bungee cords, and also the power steering, so we wouldn't have to worry about spillage, or releasing R-12. It is really amazing that it is all out, and ready for its new engine! Steve took a few pictures for me afterwards. We got done around 6:30, but we went at a nice leiserly pace. I plan on scrubbing the compartment while the engine is out this week. This will prepare for the sound deadening to be put in. That is the one thing people say about these Tiico's. They have more noise, and I just don't need more noise! Thanks to Matthew again, he is bringing some along. We did figure that we will need bigger jack stands to get the new engine in though. Some how the trailer jacks worked ok to get the engine out, but Steve thinks we will need to have taller ones for the Tiico.

Anyway, I can barely wait til Friday! I know I keep saying this, but its so true! It will be so good to see all the people coming for the installation, and the party on Saturday. Some I have never met before, so I am looking forward to new faces too. : ) See ya soon!
