02 Mini Cooper S on order - build date July 26

Lucky sod! Quite a bit of kit I hear, bro had the original Mini Cooper 'S', 1968 with close-ratio straight-cut box, Monte Carlo colours. Could flick that into 3rd without the clutch coming down the box at 90 - watching the rev counter was fun - 7,200 ish - not bad for a pushrod engine. Have much fun - I hear the build quality is second to none...

Clive Smith '88 Syncro Transporter (with a shunting, whining front diff methinks) and a few memories from early 70's of a really classic car that steered like none other.
