Having found out what they are, was just about to ask the same question. Though keeping the oil level around minimum seems the second best thing - known that for years with Italian cars, Lancia Betas, hated overfilling, breathing problems, spewed it out and took the shine off their pizazz - after a long run, definitely went better - less oil - Ha!
