Subject: poor performance when hot
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; format=flowed

Eek - archives seem to be down.

My van has been performing poorly once it's hot. It's OK (not as good as it should be) when cold and warming up, but once hot, feels like it's got about 25 HP, and hesitates and generally runs poorly! It also seems to be running a little hotter than normal. I had a leaking exhaust, but I have since re-done the exhaust system and it seems to be worse now.

I have my idle stablizer valve unhooked at the moment (had a high idle) only to discover the control brain box for my idle stabilizer is less than 2 years old. I think the leaking exhaust was giving me a high idle (maybe?).

I know that's a per-usual lousy description of the problem, but maybe someone has BTDT. I'm in no-mail so PLEASE p-mail! Cheers, Keith Adams 86 Westy "Roxy" Calgary, AB, CA || http://www.clubveedub.com
