Subject: i need some imput about a 1985 vanagon L

i work at a bakery and one of my patrons came in he is a painter and he
drives a vanagon he said he had a friend who was trying to get rid of him
vanagon and i asked home much and he said for free. I was a little bit
suprised i was thinking to myself this is going to be a pos. But i was
suprised when i looked at it the body was totally straight very little seem
rust the paint was in good shape almost brand new tires the interior was in
great shape it needed a little bit of cleaning the original radio was a
sapphire the coolest part was the speakers in the rear when pointed outworks
on a angle i asked a friend about that and he said that thoses were hard to
find since they get broken the only problem was the engine didn't turn over
but i was suprised again when he had 3 more engines laying around he might
want to getrid off and some misc stuff froma bus i might grab well if anybody
has any imput should i take the vanagon fix the engine and resell it if i do
anybody on the list looking for a 1985 4spd vanagon L with only 105,000 miles
on her i can get pics the color lite beige
