Hi I have had Bosch lights with 55/60 watt H4 bulbs in my '85 van since 1996 with no problems. I understand that if install relays these lights will work better. Does anyone have any experience or hints regarding mounting and wiring relays? Maybe someone has already published directions some where on the web. Thanks, George '85 Westfalia

with just the regular lights and 55/60 watt bulbs, you would probably be OK (honestly, the stock system works, but does tend to fry headlight switches over time). With the addition of the H3 driving lights, you are pushing your luck in my opinion.

Take the time, you will be rewarded for your efforts! ;-)
