I may be wrong (it has been quite a few years.... :( ), but I think the green locktite is what you use if you never plan on taking it apart again.

A friend of mine worked in a machine shop a few years ago, and a kid has used green locktite on the bolts on a motorcycle he had. They had to cut the nuts off to get it back apart.
