Subject: Oil consumption, low MPG
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hello,

We are on our big summer trip from San Francisco, into British Columbia - we have 2.5 weeks. I have a 91 syncro w/ 60k, and the Berg 1:4 rockers w/out an upgrade chip.

Question: I am getting about 15mpg and burning about 1qt. of oil every 1,000 miles but the syncro is running great and very strong. I noticed today the syncro had a hard time starting and then had some hesitation, (jerking) for about 10 seconds.

Anything to worry about or can I just enjoy? I have many new items and the quad tip plugs.

Thanks, Sanford
