Subject: community garage in Portland, OR?
Content-type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Hey Folks,

I have a few minor projects I'd like to undertake on my 1986 Westy, which require me to work on it from underneath.

Rather than work on my back, I'd love to have a lift to use.

I've heard of "community garages" or rental garages that offer a lift for small price, and then let you provide the tools and do the work. Click and Clack (the car talk guys started out this way years and years ago).

Would anyone happen to know of one in, or near Portland, Oregon? I remember there being one here, years ago (perhaps on the east side), tho I can't remember the name or location.

Just curious,

dave :)

p.s. here are 2 websites I found recently that have more van and vanagon parts.

www.germanengine.com

and

http://www.fastgermanauto.com/

just thought I'd pass them on. Might be old news.
