Yes!

Yes! T3 stands for Series 3 (T1 is Split, T2 is Bay, T4 is
"Eurovan"). This is what the Germans call them.

Type 2, subtype 5, so Type 25 (the Pommies all cals them Type 25s,
and miscall Type 3s "T3"). In detail I think ALL VWs have 3-digit
type codes. Just that in most countries people just use the first
digit.
