I've had success with buying hose from Parker Hose and Fittings. I cut the old hose and crimps off and take the old fittings and new hose to a local diesel injection service and have the new hose crimped onto the old fittings. You can specify that you want the R134 barrier type hose when you order, thus your system will be ready for the new refrigerant. If you are going through this much trouble, you might as well replace the high pressure hoses too. The corporate web site for parker is www.parker.com to find a distributor in your area. ---Dear fellow friends/drivers of our beloved Vanagon commuters. I am in need of the low pressure hose from the compressor onwards. Mine has developed a small pin hole where it joins at the fitting at the compressor. It is right at the top where you can see it plain as day. I can't find a place to make a A/C hose at VW well, they are out of sight. Does anyone have a hose or can steer me in the right direction to get one made? Please help. Thanx- Chris *****GOD BLESS AMERICA***** Annabell-'87 Wolfburg
