Anybody got any thoughts on how much they prefer the jumpseats > over the middle bench or vice-versa? In the later models you also get a shoulder belt for the seat near the window. Personally, I don't care to ride backwards in a jumpseat, and I really miss having an armrest. The main advantage of the jumpseats is that the lower part can be quickly tilted up to create more floor space for hauling things and the seats can be removed completely very easily if you want to move a piano. BTDT When the PO of my 91 GL installed jumpseats, he attached the proper brackets to the bases of the fronts seats, etc., but on the floor, he just poked the bottom pins thru the carpet and into the (rather substantial) padding. I had the van about a year before I realized that there were no metal sockets down there. Still haven't gotten motivated enough to do anything about it. Larry A.
