I am having a problem with an unusual A/C leak on my '85 Vanagon. Apparently it is leaking from the high side fitting at the compressor. I took this fitting off and put in a new o-ring (did the low side too while I was at it). It still leaks. It acts like the big nut for the fitting isn't going all of the way on before it gets tight. Anyone else ever experience this problem (my first time running into this one)? Thanks, Ken Wilford John 3:16 http://www.vanagain.com Phone: (856)-327-4936 Fax: (856)-327-2242

Does any one have enough experience tracking down Vanagon AC leaks to lend some info on the more common places for these to occur. I need to track mine down. Vacuum test showed slow leak.
