I'm getting misty-eyed remembering...I was just driving around the Edzell vicinity, since that's where the beast lived. Took one trip up around the headland at Petershead, the local force showed me a place to camp. Winter, so no startling rape fields. It was later, in a hired Renault with my wife that we encountered french fries and all that goes with them, fortunately at the end of our stay... I'd go back in a heartbeat. david
