Subject: Why I Love My - MULTIVAN - Westy
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

My '85 Westy, Mexicali Rose, was made in Germany & is designated a Multivan. I searched long & hard to find this spacious model without the built-in sink/stove.

For serious, long term camping/travel in warm dry climates I've found nothing beats a Multivan. I much prefer setting up my little kitchen outside under my Kelty Sunshade. And with my pair of portable 1 lb. propane tanks, which fit easily under the jump seat behind the driver, I can carry my portable propane stove & tank right down to the ocean's edge to cook & eat fresh-caught sea food!

With my bed up top, the "downstairs" living room, with it's flip-up table, is as cozy as an old fashioned private rail car, complete with flowers, books, & maps. Those rare times when a downpour prevails, I just set up my stove inside. I just love having all the flexible space of a Multivan interior. :} Phaedra '85 Westy "Mexicali Rose"
