Ha! theres a law against everything over there. Shall we have alist of stupid laws, just love Ally McBeal's piss take of your litigation society.

Anyway, its flip-flops and sandals that are dangerous to drive in, catching the sole under the pedal, not plain bare feet - thought you all had servoed disk brakes. I think everyone should be made to drive a car at leats once in bare feet, so they at elast develop SOME sensitivity to the feel of a brake and clutch pedal.
