Having a new canvas piece cut for the front of my pop-top canvas with a turtle neck type air passage into the Westy interior and just sitting a small window unit in the luggage rack when I wanted to use it. I think if the unit were kept portable then this type of installation is a very practical approach and just like my southern engineered hang on unit it would build strong muscles getting it into position. I'm sure that there are units designed for marine applications that would work as good and better but in reality I only use my little A/C unit about ten times a year so the $140.00 investment makes it both worth while and easy to live with when you consider that I can sell the A/C at a garage sale anytime for over $60.00.
