Most towns have at least one indie VW parts store that
mainly stays open selling Bug-related items. The ones
that I have dealt with have generally been friendly,
honest, and knowledgeable, even with Type IV and
Wasserboxer engines. If they offer a fair price, I
patronize their business as I can afford to. Give one
of these guys (or gals) a shot.
I have no desire to drag any vendor's name through the
mud. Perhaps the employees were new. However, with
prices and service, to the winner go the spoils.
