Which linkage is this exactly? I've had trouble getting into first and second since I put a clutch in a couple of months ago. I did separate the front section from the rear section about midways under the vanagon, but I don't remember there being any way of rotating the 'linkage' since it went together with a bolt through a U-shaped piece on one end and cylinder on the other. Kind of reminded me of a U-joint. Thanks
