My Cabriolet had the passenger side bearing seize up, so I just popped off the linkage between it and the motor and ran with only driver's side wiper until the girlfriend had driven me absolutely nuts about fixing it... So it eventually god dismantled, cleaned up in varsol, greased up and re-installed, the whole system is good now. Of course in the cabriolet, the whole shebang is easily accessable under the hood... It's gonna be evil on a vanagon, sorry. |
