Another listmember wrote me saying that they recieved official word from a VW dealer that 2002 was it for teh EV camper. Seeing that many less EV's have been sold than Vanagons I can't imagine how hard to find/expensive EV parts will be 10 years from now. Sounds like the VW camper van lineage is taking its first break in over 50 years. I hope this provides an opportunity for other manufacturers of vans such as Mercedes, big 3 conversions, and japanese vans to make an entry into the campervan market. anyone know if westfalia weekenders will still be available?
