Hey listers,

I need to change out the wiper motor on my 83 westie but not sure of the game plan. When I first looked at the situation it seemed pretty straightforward, but when I actually started was not so. there seems to be no way to access the mounting plate without remoiving the dash! Am I missing something here? Unfortunately the bentley I have does not cover this procedure well. I guess VW had such confidance in their wiper motors that fix for it was not necessary. Has anyone done this before that can lend some input? Any response would be great.

John............
