Craig Sometimes the "Eye Glass" shaped injector metal retainer gets bent. What I found was if you tap the retainer piece in the middle enough so that the two "Eye" holes are even with each other, then you will get a better seal at the injector. I too had the hunting problem. I reasoned that as the gasket leaked air, the mixture at the OXS measured too lean thus the ECU supplied more fuel so engine surged. When it surged, the gasket sucked in and lessened the air leak and made the mixture less lean. This cycle repeats. Try putting your finger on the injector seal and pressing inward. Does the surge stop/change? Larry
