Subject: EVC or Westy Syncro ... Ultimate Trip Vehicle?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Folks,

Interested in input on comparing a EVC vs Westy Syncro vs Vanagon Westy for a long term adventure.

Which Vehicle do you feel would be the best overall choice.

Assume both vehicles have been properly prepped and reconditioned prior to embarkation.

Trip Assumptions:

1. Duration .. continuous travel for approx. 1 yr (US, Mexico, Canada, Alaska, Nova Scotia etc) 2. Gas Mileage 3. Ability to travel into moderate back country (off road) areas. 4. Parts Availability 5. Repair Availability (Breakdowns & Preventative Maintenance) 6. Travel Comfort 7. Overall reliability 8. Cost of travel (Maint, Fuel, etc) 9. Anything I have forgotten.

Thanks,

Larry Chase 85 Westy "RoadHaus" CA soon to be AZ
