Hi All -

I wrote about a week ago about the knocking sound when I'm coasting. I took it for a basic inspection. (Firestone 3 in 1 - $29.99 - Oil change, Tire Rotation, and Complete Inspection - A great deal for those of us that can't do it all yet, or don't have time.) Anyway - they told me the knocking was a problem in the shifter housing.

I intend to try to fix it myself, but don't really know the first thing about the shifter housing. Anybody had to do this before and have any tips on how to access it and what to look for before I go in and break it further?

Thanks all.
