Subject: Re: WBX bashing

You all make me laugh!!!

Why are you bashing each other????

Is it an American car VS import car thing/bashing!!!!

The Japs and the European makes better 4-cylinder car, American don't know shit about small engine. The best 8 cylinder are made buy German, it is call Mercedes. The American makes the best truck. This is quite simple.

2 things, I did more head gasket change than all of you guys together: http://www.letambourin.com/ben_head.htm

Head leak are a typical problem for all import 4-cylinder engine over 100K miles, believe me! (And this is not an 80' problem!!! I just did a 98 Toyota this week.) The wasser is no exception; most of the Vanagon drivers don't know shit about engine or how to dive an underpowered vehicle. Maybe that why so many are having problems.

I did 45K km (28k miles) in 2 summers, with proper maintenance, this as been one of the most reliable engine and van/car I had ever own, period.

Chill out guys, you all love the same thing. Ben http://www3.sympatico.ca/huotx/engine1.htm
