Funny, I just hooked up the Hella Aux battery kit to a "Yellow top" Optima battery. I followed the instructions but i did NOT touch the wires going to the fridge relay....SO my setup is separate from the fridge light and sink pump. The battery charges fine and the relay separates the two batterys when the ingition is turned off. I use the battery to power fans, a light, and TV/VCR. Maybe theres a better way, becouse i would have LIKED to have the aux battery also powering that juice hogging westy interior light/fridge. Phil Stanhope 84' westy w/ Tiico
