I'd like to give you a definitive Yes, but I'm running an RX7 oil cooler,
a Porsche Windage Tray, notched rods, I'm monitoring my oil temp with an
Audi 5000 sending unit in the oil bypass part.
In my case I've noticed that at 70/75 mph in the 3300/3500 rpm, my oil
pressure remains up about 65+ psi. Prior to this the pressure was in the
55/60 range at these speeds and Rpms.
The temperature appears to remain the same since there is a ten minute
delay in having a true reading.
I get the same temperatures at 85 degrees ambient temperature as I do at
100 degrees so I can't say what results you'll get but its just a $20.00
experiment with a new filter so I'd say go for it if you've got over
10,000 miles on your engine. If you've got an old engine I'd run marvel
mystery oil in it for a full 3000 mile oil change cycle and run some
engine flush through the engine before you make the switch. Apears that
the synthetic breaks the crud loose and can stop up your oil delivery if
the engine is in mid life.
