I don't want to get in a big fight about speedometers but I'm going 70
mph at 3300 rpms, 185x14 Agilis 61s. Everything has been there before the
change to Mobil 1.
*So you gained 5-10psi simply by switching to synthetic?*
That is relative to 210 degrees oil temp and 3300/3500 rpms.
The Vanagon DK 4 speed manual has the highest gear available in any
Vanagon, ever. So its confusing to some.

So you gained 5-10psi simply by switching to synthetic? (the other
modifications were done prior to the before-and-after?). At 3500 rpms I'm
going 60mph... and I'm an automatic.... You hit 70mph at 3500 rpms?
