begin snipped -------- where did he get that connector thingee? looks like THE way to do the wiring. http://www.fishforms.com/vanagon/lights.cfm end snipped ----------

I got these fantastic connectors at my local BOSCH service center. You may not have one of these in your neighborhood... but in Austria and Germany they are all over the place!

I started asking the guy about wire thicknesses, and hardware for my planned headlight wiring and bulb upgrade, and he immediately grabbed these little guys and said... "take these connectors, any other way of hooking them up is just a compromise".

Anyway... the place is like 5 blocks from my house, so if anyone on the list is interested in having them, I can make a BOSCH run and see how much they cost (and if there is a quantity discount if anyone needs like 25 or so).

I would be happy to send a package out (although I do not really want to start exporting these little guys to all the list members one at a time every other day... just don't think it would be worth the time and effort for such a small item... and shipping might end up costing as much as the part).

It is possible that armed with the BOSCH P/N youu can find a supplier in the states too!

Feel free to pmail me, and I'll check into it if there is enough interest.
